What is Rainland?

Rainland is a place of mind. It's a metaphor.

Rainland is where we, the people living with Bipolar Disorder, live. There are no maps, there are no destinations.

It is my hope that this becomes a book about being Bipolar. It's not a self-help book and it won't be an autobiography -- although, you will learn a lot by the time it's done. By writing this book I simply hope to help people understand what Bipolar is. For those who have this disease and for those who live with Bipolars -- Rainlanders.

Rainland is not a blasted plain. There are days of sun to equal those of dark. With rain comes life and with life comes hope -- whether you walk alone or as part of a greater whole.
